Hi Pam,
I’ve been around and around with the alt tab and it still just says “no
selected item”.
I think the deal with WE reading the message you are on even when it is
minimized has something to do with mirror drivers. Have you tried Insert back
slash to redraw the screen? Does that help any?
Tony

I have to cycle around and around with the tab key until it will finally say
whatever icon it’s on, on the desktop and then it will read them. I am having
another problem. If I have more than one thing open, and I alt tab to one of
the open windows, like the window where I am downloading something and I want
to check to see how the download is going, it will read that, but it will also
read the header from whatever message I am sitting on in the inbox if that is
open, and it will jumble that all together. What is the reason for window eyes
to jump around and read things I am not focused on? How do I stop this aside
from having to close everything except what I am immediately working on? Pam.

Subject: WE looses focus on desktop

Hi all,
Lately I’ve began have the issue of after I close some open programs and try to
go to the desktop WE will say “desktop, no selected item”. usine the arrow keys
or first letter does nothing. The only way I’ve found so far to get WE to read
the desktop icons is to close WE and then restart it again and all is good.
Anyone got thoughts on this??
