Hi all, I've noted that the Word spell check problems in Word 2010 really bother a lot of people, so I've added fixes for them to the latest release of my Word Advanced Features app (just until GW gets to them). There's now an option in the preferences dialog which allows you to disable these fixes in the app once GW releases their fix.
The fixes are: * says the letter "A" as "eigh" instead of "uh" when spelling. * Says and spells the current suggestion when you tab to the suggestions list. * Spells the current suggestion as you arrow through the list. * Fixed the alt-R command so it says and spells the current suggestion. I could only test with 2010, but they may work with 2007; the default in Word 2007 for the fixes however is "off" since I don't know; anyone wishing to test in 2007 would need to go into the app's preferences, find the checkbox for the spellcheck fixes, and enable it. enjoy, and please let me know if they all work as they should.
