Hi all.
For those wishing to continue using GWSkype, there is a workaround to
fix those annoying pop ups. It was not GW Micro's intentions to bombard
the end user with pop ups. This is due to certain conditions or settings
that are not met for GWSkype to run comfortably. The first thing you
should do is disable any antivirus or firewall software you have running
and see if the pop ups go away. If they do, make sure your antivirus or
firewall isn't blocking port 80 which GWSkype most likely uses to
connect to the internet.
Hope this helps.

I think the 1 thing you really do need to fix is the amount of spam gw skype
generates. Am a licenced user of wineyes I have my own copy and several
times now I have had the advertisements come up for wineyes. Giving me a
number to call for more information which is useless outside of the US so
even if you want to use gw skype to advertise wineyes internationally giving
people a US number to call isn't always going to help them.
I have since uninstalled the application and gone back to using skype as it
was. I do think that the skype scripts that were in constant development
before hand should remain in development for those that would like to use
the actual application.
