I don't know. I don't use control b.
Perhaps someone else has the answer.

Thanks for the help on this folks. One little question, though, I noticed
ctrl-b, album gain, as well. Does using this make the program check the
levels of all the tracks under the folder and adjust gain to the loudest
one? Is this correct? If you want to reply off list, that's fine.

By default, mp3gain will make no sound. I had to go into options to turn
it on.

After selecting all files, press control-T to make the program evaluate
the current decibel level of each track.
There should be two edit boxes where you can set the decibel level where
you want to set the track levels. You don't have to hit enter to change
the decibel level in the edit boxes. There are two boxes so you can set a
partial decibel level. For example, 91.5.
After setting your desired decibel level, press control-G to apply the
track gain. It may take a bit if you have many files to process. The
program will bong when it finishes.

Subject: question on mp3gain and window eyes 7.5.2
I downloaded the program, put a folder of mp3s into the list, selected
all files, but I can't locate any button to press or any method to
actually get the program to start doing its work. What's up? Is there
an audio tutorial out there I can listen to? Any suggestions on getting
the program to actually work on my mp3 files?
Thanks,
Steve
