Ok! This is a 2-pronged question -- one looking for a fix to a current problem and one that I perceive as a short-coming in WE.
Last night, I went onto a pc running XP home service pack 3 that I hadn't used for a month or so do to being at a different residence. In launching the Feed reading in ie8, I got a cryptic msg warning me that my feeds were currently set to not being automatically updated due to some setting not being set properly. Nice that IE8 warns me of this, but it would be even more helpful if I could locate the msg on the screen or in some sort of buffer or clipboard so I could actually fix this thing. Unfortunately, the msg was replaced by my listing of feeds, and checking the settings in Feeds suggests that all is in order with updating which, I can tell you this morning isn as I have to do manual refreshes to get a feed's content updated. Ok! so here are the questions: (1) Can someone tell me how to fix this updating feeds in ie8? (2) And is there in WE some way to get at these interim msgs at this point, either through the program itself or with a app? I've seen this kind of msg at various times and it sure would be nice to know what is being asked by actually seeing the msg again rather than guessing or thinking about what I might have heard or not heard. Thanks for any imput on this. To obey God's will is the way to have our will. Thomas Watson If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
