I tried Advanced Find (Control-Shift-F) in Outlook 2010 with WE 7.5.2 again a while ago and got the results I expected after pressing bypass. I don't know what the problem was the other day. My right control key is a bit flaky and that might have been it or operator error, but I had been getting the WE dialogue about searching for bold, italics etc. attributes and I thought the feature didn't work in WE.
In OE I could do Advanced Find for a folder other than the one I was in, for all folders, dates from more than a month ago, and other multiple criteria that I haven't been able to figure out how to do in Outlook 2010. My efforts using Outlook's help haven't been fruitful. I made a change so I can search all folders using the search box, but it seems to be limited about what criteria can be searched for. Any help in getting Advanced Find to do any of the things I mentioned would be greatly appreciated.
