If you use Firefox you can press ctrl+k to get direct to
search box. After typing text in search box you hit enter. Perhaps it will
help you to solve the problem.

automatically as you type is to turn Autoload on by pressing insert-a,
before you turn Browse Mode off. Note that when Browse Mode is off ,

I've all but decided to fling Firefox onto the digital scrap heap.
Although I've downloaded the auto load enhanced app and the Firefox app,
I can't type in a search string without browse mode coming on
prematurely. I don't have the same problem in Internet Explorer.
