If I remember correctly some of the first CDs for WE 7.5 had that problem. If you continue with the install, it will talk once the install is complete and you restart the computer.

Subject: Question WE not talking new Win7 64 Bit Del Lap Top

A friend is helping me get my new Del lap top set up.

It is a 64 Bit machine. Using the WE 7.5 disc.

This is from my friend:

"""
I uninstalled
window eyes and started to reinstall. I get a prompt that asks if I want to install with speech, I clicked install with speech and it responds that WE will install with speech. That is the last words it speaks. The next prompt asks if I want a quick install or not, but WE doesn't read that prompt. So for some reason, their sound is failing at that point. I have even turned off your Kaspersky AV, to see if that
was fighting the voice, to no avail.
The WE forum seems to be that they email you every message and nothing is posted in an area that I can search. I have checked WE's knowledge base of 90 possible WE problems and can't find anything that appertains to the problem. I guess my best bet is to wait until Monday and call their tech support, unless you have a better
idea.
"""

Any ideas?
