Hi Robert:
Just a guess here, but could it be that there are a lot of messages
being downloaded from the server, and your computer is taking a long
time to download those messages.
Sometimes it happens to me and I just wait for a minute or so and
Window-eyes starts speaking again, when all the incoming messages are
loaded into the inbox.
