Dear GW Micro Technical Support.
I understand GWConnect 1.03 was released last night. I have thus downloaded and installed the program. I cannot comment, as I haven't ran it up to now. I am writing to offer you a suggestion. I know right now you are just fixing bugs, but thought I would mention the below anyway for the future. As you know, most Windows programs not only notify you that an update is available, as with the case of GWConnect; they can also download and install the update at the user's discression. This saves the end user from physically going to a website, searching for the update, downloading the appropriate program, etc. Skype is a good example of a Windows program that downloads and installs the update, as well as notifying the end user.
So could this be implemented in a future version of GWConnect?
Thank you very much for taking this into consideration. It will be greatly appreciated. Just to let you know, I will copy the GW Info list into this message, just in case any of your support staff do not see this message.
Yours Faithfully,
Christopher Hallsworth.
