That is a problem for everyone with the buttons barely speaking any
information. I click on the button that say i as opposed to q.

Hello World.
Win XP sP3, all updates, latest Window-Eyes. Today, I received notice
from Adobe that there was a Flash Player update available, so I
struggled through installing it. By the way. Has anyone else noticed
that only the shortcuts and not the entire button labels are spoken in
that flash player installation dialog, or is this peculiar to my computer?
Anyway. I managed to get the thing installed, and at the end, Flash
player put up a message that Flash player doesn't play very well with
some Real Player component or other, so I went into Add/ Remove
Programs to make sure I don't have Real Player installed, which I
don't. But here is where I discovered a problem.
While in the XP Add/ Remove programs program list, I typically
interrupt speech by down arrowing through the programs list at a
moderate to rapid rate. Usually the first word of the installed
program is enough to let me know where I am. Before speaking the name
of each list item, WE was saying "blank." For example, "Blank,
Microsoft Office Standard Edition." I was able to make WE stop saying
blank before each Add/ Remove program list item by setting the "say
blank" option in the Window-Eyes Screen> Other> Blank lines combo box
to "Off"
Before sending this message, I decided to put the blank lines feature
back to "say blank," then I opened Add/ Remove programs and arrowed up
and down the list slowly to see if the behavior was affected by the
speed at which I pressed the up and down arrow keys. It was not.
