Lol, OK, so when I maximized the Excel window, which I thought was already
maximized, the line did read. OK, moral of the story: I should just give up
on thinking.

  Subject: Excel and reading field

  Hi,

In the previous version, when I typed something in the column in Excel, I
used to be able to press Control 5 to have it read what I typed since Control
Shift D did not read until you moved away from the cell. Now, neither will
read what I typed until I move away from the cell. Am I missing something? Is
there another command that will read what I typed in a column without moving?
Thanks.

  Warm regards,
  Sahar Husseini
