It's alt-page up to answer, alt-page down to hang up.

I thought the page down key would hang up a call. When I press it to

Page up is to answer a call; but, when not in a call but in the contacts
list, could it be made to call that person instead of having to use both
hands to do Control-L? I see, though, that this might need to have the
currently calling person focused on the contacts list, lest there be no
dialog pop up when they call. Otherwise, you'd call the person on the
contacts list instead of answering the current call. Yes, I have had a
few times there be no dialog come up when receiving a call and found no
way to answer it.

Another point on the request for authorization... I did control-R to
read the event history. There was no indication that anyone had sent a
request for authorization until after I'd shown those requests via the
view menu and then authorized them. If this history included these
requests before finding them, it would be another way to know what I'd
missed, or maybe more to the point that I'd missed anything I needed to
know. I do think the easiest way, however, would be for the requests to
show up in the main window with show all contacts.

On the subject of video availability, let me suggest that we have a good
reason for including such a feature as soon as Skype allows. Instead of
only allowing callers to see us or our background setting, we could use
this video feed to show things to a sighted friend and receive
information back about the object. How about holding up a t-shirt to
have someone tell you what's on it, so you won't have to wait for a
sighted person to come by and tell which shirt it is, assuming you don't
have it labeled or have lost its label? How about identifying a grocery
item that not even the ID Mate has in its database? How about reading a
document? You might not have a scanner; but, even if you do, it might
not read the document properly or can't because of graphics or colors.
Ever try to read a logo to find out the name of the business for which a
piece of mail deals? So, please let Skype know, if that's what's needed
to get this going, that it's not just for the fun of it but can be most
useful as well.

Thanks!
Marilyn
