OK, what did I do wrong? I reinstalled Window-Eyes and updated to 7.5.3. I went to the keyboard settings and set interruptability to all. Well, it does not stop speech totally. Well, that is not exactly what I mean. For example, if I am looking through a list of files and press enter, the normal action would have been to open or play the file and the speaking of the file name would stop. Now, speech continues after pressing enter, tab and shift keys. If I press the escape key, the speech does momentarily stop, but what happens there is that I hear part of the title, escape, and then the entire title repeated again. I would appreciate any help to get rid of the extraneous speech. Thank you.
