I currently have Windows8 Consumer with NVDA running on my desktop and
have found several hotkeys using the Windows key and thought this useful
for other impatient users such as myself (haha).
Note, as indicated, in Windows 8, CTRL-ALT-Del no longer open Easy
Accessibility and Task Manager.
windows-B jumpsto Systray Notification button
Windows-C charm window
Windows-E Computer
Windows-F file search
Windows-H share window
Windows-I more PC settings
Windows-k device window (only results in a close button and no info. Is
found by NVDA.)
Windows-L secure sign in (CTRL-ALT-Del also accomplishes this)
Windows-P second screen window
Windows-q search box
Windows-r opens run dialog
Windows-t running applications
Windows-u easy accessibility
Windows-x brings down menu with following options:
Desktop
Programs and features
Network connections
Power options
Event viewer
System
Device manager
Disk management
Computer management

Windows explorer
