I don't think you can label buttons on a web page, but you can do this. Use the Window-Eyes place markers feature to label the buttons. There are ten place markers you can set, and, instead of those long, meaningless labels ending in gif, you can substitute whatever you wish in the name edit box, which is the first place you end up when you open the place markers dialog (Control-Shift-K). I myself am no expert at setting up place markers, so I refer you to the WE manual for a primer. I spent a lot of time yesterday entering all of the information required to pay bills online. There are several buttons on the web site that I can decipher but are difficult to work with. For instance, when adding a new payee there is a button that Window-Eyes reads as https://onlinebanking.capitalone.com/CapitalOne/Themes/TopTabMenu/Images/btn _searchforpayee.gif. All I want it to say is "search for payee." There are many like that on this site for instructions like "cancel," "submit," and more. .
