Hi list,

I am fairly sure I've written something similar to this, but quick question. Why is it that when I put in a new soundcard, window-eyes switches to another card even though the new card and the defalt card window-eyes is set to, are not related at all? It appears that the, remember the speech settings for this synthesizer when switching, checkbox is not working properly. At least, that's the only thing I can think of. I've got 3 different cards that I cycle through for various audio applications. Any ideas on how I might be able to keep window-eyes set to the card I have chosen, to make it stay there? Luckily I have a braille display and can use it to navigate to the soundcard box and then re-select the synth's soundcard, but what if I didn't? Then I'd be dead in the water, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this problem. Or am I? insert look of shocked horror here.
