Hi:
Ever since I installed WE 7.5.3 I have had the following problem.
It may, or not, be WE related but WE is suspect because of the timing when I first noticed this problem. In the following Accessible Google Search Box, is anyone having this problem?
http://www.google.com/accessibility/labs/search/
Tab to EditBox and hit enter;
Enter the following tex
abcdefg
left or right cursor and I hear ping and ping
hit f11 to toggle full screen
left and right cursor reads the text correctly
cursor to the letter d
hit the delete key to remove it
left and right cursor and hear ping ping again.
This time:
hit alt-spacebar
Cursor down to Maximize and it is Disabled indicating it is already maximized but WE is not reading it's contents. You can alt-tab out of and back into the EditBox and it will sometimes read until you try and type something
And then read what you typed with the cursor and get ping ping again.
Type the letter d or any word
left and right cursor and hear ping ping
The only way to work in this Edit Box is to type everything without an error or review or have to hit f11 over and over if you want to read what you have in the box.
This is getting more than annoying.
I cant get anything done when searching for information.
It all started, at least I first noticed it, the same day or so I installed WE 7.5.3. I would go back to 7.5.2 if possible but it was having a different problem which they "fixed" in 7.5.3. I am trying to figure out if it is a focus problem or what is going on since the box appears to be maximized but WE reads it as empty or whatever the ping ping and nothing read indicates.
Again, this is in IE8 on my xp machine.
