from the document image window you can send it to word from in the tools
menu or just copy and paste the text page by page.

I got it working. What a useful feature for those who don't currently
have a dedicated OCR program. I would love to see MS add a shortcut to
launch from within Word as well as an overall improvement in accuracy.

yes it comes in the student version as well, what you have to do is do a
custom install of office and make sure that Microsoft office tools are
all ran from your computer, then if you have windows 7 or vista you can
type in the start menu document and it should be the second program, I
can provide over the phone, Skype, or im help for those who need it.

wondering, what preferibley free, scanning n ocr programs are out there
