make sure you have the latest Windows live app from app center, then when you
do the hot key to move a folder window-eyes should read it. to find out how
many unread messages you have shift to the folders and window-eyes will give
you that info, or arrow up or down on the messages and window-eyes will tell
you the number of that message and how many there are. make sure you turn off
the reading pain and the calendar pain. other than that you should be ok.

Subject: Windows 7, Windows Live Mail

This past weekend I set up my new Windows 7 PC and am trying out Windows live
mail. Does anyone have any tips on how to set WLM up to work optimally with
WE? Things are generally okay, but one problem I am having is when I hit
CONTROL-SHIFT-V to move a message to a folder, WE does not read the selected
folder. It just says “Window”. Also, I don’t see anything that tells me the
number of messages in my inbox. I just get a ding when I hit CONTROL-INSERT-S.

Any help would be appreciated.

Andy
