I just got a HP Pavillion DV7 running Windows 7 and WE 7.5.4.1 last week or week before and I've not had an issue at all. In fact, the last three laptops I've bought for me and my wife have had Realtech chips, and so does the MB in my desktop. I've never had an issue with the sound chip and Window EYES. The one thing I did do as soon as I got the new laptop was go in and turn off Sound enhancements as suggested in one of the GW Micro Knowledgebase articles and it made a difference in Window EYES' responsiveness, but other than that it has been a great machine. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom Fairhurst To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, May 03, 2012 11:56 PM Subject: New Computer
I'm strongly considering an HP Pavillion P 7 Windows 7 computer. I understand it has a Realtech sound card. Could this be a problem for Window-Eyes 7.5.4.1? I thought I remembered some listers having problems with them. If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
