I primarily use Firefox. It is worse than IE as far as returning to the top when returning to Browse mode. The search is a good tool to use to get back to your place. I also use the speak summary, (ctrl-shift-s) to give the line number where I am before going out of browse mode. Then when I land at the top I'll use the go to line key to return to the line I was on. I'm hoping that WE will do much better as far as keeping places in pages than it does now. It is an irritation but not a show stopper. ----- Original Message ----- From: shannon To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, May 04, 2012 9:16 AM Subject: another brows mode irritant
Good morning, With all the talk about the differences with IE and FF and that survey, I went and got FF12. The questions did read with FF but you did have to jump in and out of brows mode. The irritant is really in when you get back into Brows mode you land at the top of the web page and then you have to find where you left off again. Brows mode should leave you where you are in the page. Tossing you back to the top is a pain in the behind. It does this in IE too Usually I am trying to find the last visited link so I just go to the bottom of the page and then use the last visited link in reverse order to get back to where I was but in a form like this and there are no links to mark the spot this is not an option. Years back there was a previous position but that has been lost for a while now. Just an irritant I found regardless of browser this is a bug.
