I'd check scheduled tasks to see if you have anything scheduled to run at noon on that machine. If not perhaps you have something like a virus scan that isn't listed in scheduled tasks running at noon.

Hey guys,

I don't know what to make of this, but it's driving me crazy.
I'm running xp. For some reason, this problem happens every day at almost
the exact same time.
I'll be working on a bunch of stuff, and all of a sudden, my computer
basicly stops responding to keyboard commands. It'll act really slow, and
do strange stuff.
I'll do control escape to go to the start menu, i hear a small click, and
window-eyes will take for ever to say anything.
Yet i can't hear the ahrddrive spinning, and it's giving no indication that
the computer is busy with something.
This happens at roughly noon every day, and i've about had it with it.
The solution is to physically depress the power button until the machine
powers down, when i reboot it, it is fine.
Any ideas? I don't know what to make of it.

Thanks,
Jed
