I have not tried the password managers of Internet Explorer or Firefox. I
use LastPass from www.LastPass.com. There are several ways to save a site's
log-on information. When you log onto a new site, an icon asks you if you
want to save the site. You are supposed to be able to do this automatically.
While I haven't figured out the automatic part, LastPass will save your
log-on information for future use. Also, you wlon't need to remember
passwords any more and can easily change them to more secure passwordes.
There are other password managers, but I'm not familiar with them. Actually,
it works better in Windows 7 than inXP.

Subject: How to auto log on to web sites
What are others out there doing to automatically log on to web sites ? The
auto complete feature of Internet Explorer is lame. I can't depend on
cookies, some sites don't set them, NLS BARD for example. I am wondering if
the password manager of Firefox is worthwhile, or if others are using a
particular third party password manager to do this. I didn't see anything
related to this in app central.
Thanks,
Margaret
