Fred,

Just a guess, but maybe the problem is caused by the apps which are specific
to outlook 2010? Try disabling these apps (I think that would be Outlook
enhance and Office Enhance). If you can't find them, or aren't sure, just
disable all apps.

If you can narrow it down to specific apps, you can then write GW support to
let them know, and you can remove these apps for now.

hth,

Chip

Subject: Widnow Eyes breaking cursor with Outlook 2010 running?

Hi all:

I am encountering a problem where Attachmate EXTRA(emulation software) will
lose it's cursor focus.

Here's the scenario:

Running Window Eyes 7.5.4.1 on Windows 7 on HP Elite 8440P

Attachmate Extra loads and works perfectly.

Outlook 2010 loads and works perfectly.

Then I switch from Attachmate mainframe or unix session to Outlook and then
back.

Cursor not in focus so I try to determine cursor - Window Eyes reports that
cursor if found, bvut cursor does not work at this point. Only thing that
has worked so far is to relaunch Window Eyes.

I've tried:

Redrawing window

Unloading scripts

Place mouse in window and click left to give focus

I can switch back and forth between any other applications without a
problem. After reloading Window Eyes, everything works perfectly again until
I switch between these two applications again.

It seems that all that needs to happen is for the mso2010 sets to load and
the problem occurs. I don't even do anything in Outlook - just there long
enough for the sets to load.

Any ideas or suggestions???

Thanks.

fred
