plugged in my Logitech headset usb mic, it didn't switch. I see we still
have to do this automatically. Is this something that will keep happening
until a resolution is reached?

Duyahn,
Make sure you don't have any firewalls blocking the Skype kit runtime
as that might cause problems. Also make sure your input and output
devices are properly configured in Options/Devices.
