Chip,
While Eloquence is active, open the WE control panel and navigate to
Devices/Synthesizers. From there you can explicitly define which audio
device Eloquence should use. Click the Activate button when you are
finished to apply the change.

Steve

A large part of my work on the PC is audio recording. I have an audio
interface to record with, but when i turn it on Eloquence quits speaking and I
have to shut down Windoweyes and reload it. Is there not a way to make
Eloquence, or any synthesizer for that matter, to stay loaded and not try to
switch to the new audio device?
