Make sure that the Favourites Bar is not checked in both the View menu tool bar
and explorer bar choices.

Hi, a week or so ago, I must have hit something because now when I open IE 8,
and route the mouse pointer to the lower left hand side of the window, I hear a
favorites option, which when clicked, gives me a "todays favorites" option. I
know this is an optional IE 8 setting, that can be turned off by the user. My
question is, how can I turn this option off?
Or should I just look up "favorites bar" on google for the help I need?
