Hi,
Now follow the same instructions as before but your going to be doing the opposite.
So, you are going to highlight default folder on your desktop
then control c to copy
then\ control \ backslash
alt f
arrow down twice to explorer profile and enter
hit backspace
now I would first rename your current default folder by press f2 key
then hit end key
and typing dot old
hit enter
now control v to paste
and you should be good to go once you restart Window Eyes.
If things are not working right at this point, then the culprit is your default folder from your previous WE7 installation.
to correct this
press control \ backslash
alt f
arrow down twice to explorer profile and enter
then back space
now delete the default folder
then arrow down until your hear default.old
now press f2
hit end key
then backspace 4 times to delete dot o l d
and you should hear default
then enter and
restart Window Eyes and you should be back to where you are right now.
good luck,
Manny

Hey Manny,
Thanks so much for the info, particularly the procedure for backingup the info. I have it sitting on my desktop now not quite sure what to do now. Do I open up the windoweyes folder and paste it into that? I'm not too smart about all these things. I finally did get it uninstalled. There was no uninstall on the disc that I could find. It just told me that I would have to uninstall the current wineyes before it would install the new copy. Anyway, I'm up and running now. As soon as I know what to do with that backup that's on my desktop I'll be back in business.
Thanks so much. I notice you do quite a bit of helping on this list.

Hi,
I seem to remember that if you try to install WE7.5 from the cd it will warn you that it will first uninstall WE7.5
and you need to say yes or ok to proceed.
Don't forget to make a copy of your user folder called
default
to do this
in control \ backslash
        alt f
arrow down twice to explorer profile folder and enter
then backspace and you should hear default
now control c to copy
and go to your desktop and control v to paste

good luck

Hi Gang,

I'm having a lot of various problems many of which I think are
caused by windoweyes, so I'm trying to uninstall it and reinstall it and see if that cures some of my problems. I know I'll have some refiguring etc. but it will be worth it . Problem is, I can't seem to find how to uninstall it. I'm using windows 7 64 bit and the latest WE 7.4.1
Could somebody head me in the right direction?
Thanks.
