Well said Thomas! Sometimes me/clients would be tempted to swore, for many of them have JAWS, and on numerous occasions', while you are in the middle of something JAWS would say: "Lost focus"! I tell them if Jaws does not say that, then it is not working well! LOL!!!

Plug in another sound card does not help in such instant. There's times which overheating or CPU itself is doing something intensive, it will cause the speech to go vanish or some other application took higher priority than window-eyes itself. Like it or not, even sighted folks has such problem with other programs, let alone a screen reader. Just that I don't hear them saying, my monitor hang or something. Even with the monitor is faulty, they either just get the spare monitor out or the old CRT, all else works once again. -------------------- regards Thomas N. If you unplug the keyboard, you should hear a bing sound. If you don't then the windows operating system has lost sound. In this case, just plugging a usb headset or speakers would restore your sound. good luck, checkout my stand-up comedy performance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75fbevlz10g If you like it, please forward or post on your social network.
