Well, perhaps the subject line is a bit confusing, but I couldn't find one that better indicated what I am attempting to do.
resisted from having everything Window-Eyes in the "c:\Wineyes" folder to the current "c:\program files\gw micro" set up that one gets when installing WE fresh on a pc. Hence, all of my xp pcs, regardless of when WE got placed on them, have the "c:\Wineyes" structure. I've done this, incidentally, by beginning the installation set up from version 6.0 and subsequently updating towhatever the current version happens to be at the time. I've done this so I can keep all of my settings. custom setfiles, placemarkers, and whatever else synched between all of the pcs. I would like to port my WE settings to a Win7 pc but realize that I have to figure out where everything from the classic structure fits into the current one. I don't wish to re-invent the wheel unless I have to, so I am asking if there happens to be a knowledge base article, tutorial, something in the manual, or whatever that will walk me through this process. Thanks! Every experience God gives us, every person He puts in our lives, is the perfect preparation for the future that only He can see."
