John, In the desktop keyboard layout, the num pad delete key is assigned to the Window-Eyes default button hot key, located in the miscellaneous dialog of the Hot keys tree view node. When you turn off Window-Eyes, the delete key would be the delete key again. You can redefine the hot key or press the WE bypass hot key before trying to use the delete key as the delete key.
On the other hand, if you are using the laptop layout, the above probably would not apply. My guess is that you mentioned a 102 key laptop because you are using the Window-Eyes desktop layout. hth, Lou N. -----Original Message----- From: Tim Keenan [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, July 26, 2012 3:52 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: FW: Keyboard Oddities with Dell E6520 Laptop I have a 6320 and haven't experienced this.
