Hi,

What I would do is fire up the built in speech in windows by doing
windows-key-u and use the emergency removal under advanced options on the we
7.5 cd. Then re-install 7.5.

Hope that helps..

P.S. just as an extra measure, after you get we reinstalled, get a copy of
nvda.

Subject: installing wineyes and trouble

hi list, i have a problem. i have two computers, one old, and one not so
old. this morning, i tried to upgrade wineyes7.2 to 7.5 in my newer
computer. i was doing this by installing 7.5 on top of 7.2
i got a message saying that the installation could not be done, as i need
some dll file, and hadn't got it. this wouldn't have mattered, if i had been
left with 7.2 working. unfortunately, it wasn't working. my machine now
refuses to talk to me, consequently i can't go to control panel, and unstall
the wineyes that is there. it seems that there is nothing i can do, without
sighted assistance. i am only sending this message, to ask if anyone else
has had this trouble.
another problem. i tried to find out which version of wineyes i have on my
old machine. when i press control back slash, instead of getting wineyes,
and alting to help, i get the wineyes folders. i mean such as scree,
keyboard, verbosity, and so forth. how can i get out of this, and reach
help. if anyone has any comments, and can offer any help, i would be glad to
hear from you. brian.
