Hi Ted,
I supplement my security essential with spybot.
It has a component called TeaTimer which runs in the background, and if
a program changes a registry entry or changes the startup menu, I get a
warning, which I allow with alt a, or deny with alt d.
good luck,
Manny

really enough? If not, What else should I be using, without going
overboard on computer protection? If I need something else, I would
like it to be free and compatible with Window-eyes, something that would
complement microsoft security essentials, but not replace it. Thanks
for any ideas. Regards: Ted Larson
