I have nch software's Express Rip installed on my xp machine with service pack 3, window-eyes 7.5.4.1.
However, under the mp3 ripping options I can only use "constant bit rate", I do not have a "variable bit rate" option showing. Does anybody using express rip with window-eyes have the ability to use the variable bit rate option while ripping mp3's? If so, please contact me off list. I am pretty sure the problem isn't WE, as it works very well with that program otherwise. I suspect my problem is the encoder I do not have installed that allows for variable bit rate, but am not sure. I'm not that knowledgeable. Thanks so much.
