Don't know if this will help anyone in this particular case. Yet for a
general suggestion, if you experience a website with less controls
displaying, from what you expected - here is one thing to try.
In both Internet Explorer and Firefox, you can go to the View menu (by
hitting Alt-V). Then scroll down to the choice that says Styles, and hit
Right-arrow. Choose the entry saying No Styles, and hit Enter. The site
will now be displayed with your new preference, and in many cases that
means far more controls showing up. Note that you might have to repeat
the steps, on each site. Also, you sometimes will need to redraw the
screen (Insert-Backslash), after the steps.
Yes, a few extra keystrokes, but I have seen plenty of webpages where
this approach does bring up the needed controls. And first you get used
to it, you will do the few keystrokes quickly enough. Agreed, it is a
bother, but long as it works... :)

Is this a web site you can share so others can try for themselves?
Also, did
you try the web site with another browser, Firefox for instance?

Subject: Google Forms questions not answered
Hi Everyone,
I have also posted two emails on this list, in the past, with
questions about my Sleep Study diary which I think is "Google Docs"
or something like that. It's a form I have to fill out on the OHSU
web site, and I have to use another screen reader to fill out this
every single night, as Windoe-Eyes does not read the fields at all,
no matter what I do. It use to work, when I used IE8, but now it
doesn't work, and I have to use System Access to fill out this form.
Even NVDA doesn't work. I'm not sure if it is an IE9 issue, or if it
is the form which is powered by Google, I guess is the best way to
explain it. I have even posted the questions here, previously a while
back, that are fields in the form I have to fill out every night.
The only way I can do this, is if I keep taking MSAA on and off, and
I have actually bounced myself out of the form now and then, doing this.
lol.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated, please.
Don't worry, I'm not upset or mad about this at all. <smile>
Thanks much.
Pat Ferguson
