Hi Tony! First of all, a slight correction in that Adobe Acrobat is entirely free to use in converting pdf filesto text and very often produces very readable text with a screen reader such as WE.
Having said that, I also keep Jamal Mazrui's pdf2txt around as an alternative converter as, for some pdfs, it produces better screen reader text. Here is info on pdf2txt: PDF2TXT -- A program for single or batch conversion of PDFs to text, including OCR capability. http://EmpowermentZone.com/p2tsetup.exe Documentation http://EmpowermentZone.com/pdf2txt.htm Which one to use? I suggest having both on a system and trying both for a given pdf. The will of God is never exactly what you expect it to be. It may seem to be much worse, but in the end it's going to be a lot better and a lot bigger. Elisabeth Elliot If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
