your not waiting long enough. sometimes it may take 20 seconds before win
eyes fully unloades.
the ring sound you are hearing is the w e error that comes up when you try
to load w e and it is already running. if you press escape and wait a few
seconds longer w e will load again.

Subject: Window-eyes annoying startup problem
Hey guys,
I've had this happen many times, and it's really annoying. Sometimes I'll
have to shut down window-eyes cause it's getting slow or whatever, and
restart it. I exit out of it, then about 5 seconds later hit the hot key to
re-activate it.
What happens when I do that more often than not windows does a ding dong,
the high to low sound basicly telling me there is an error. At his point
because of not knowing what's going on I am forced to physically shut down
the machine by depressing the power button. Any ideas what this would be?
I've seen this before where when I start window-eyes it's running. But how
could that be if I just shut it down and attempting to start it again. I
should get no error sounds like that, right?
Any ideas? This is really annoying having to reboot all the time when I
shut window-eeys down. I might as well reboot every time if that's the
case. It should work right but it appears to not be. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jed
