Hi Morne,

The message about the text color is coming from a verbosity setting which
you can turn off. When Word is loaded, open the We control panel and go to
the verbosity settings (insert-v should take you right there from Word).
Make sure the Word set file is loaded.

Open up the verbosity tree of settings if you need to; find the common group
of settings and open that up, and find the “attribute changes” group. Tab
over until you find the “indicate color changes” radio buttons, set it to
“no”, and save the settings.

The change in voice at the start I’m pretty sure is coming from the app I
wrote named “Word Advanced Features” (if you installed it that is). Again
in the WE control panel, go to the apps menu and find the choice for the
Word Advanced Features, and go into its preferences dialog.

Tab through until you find a checkbox for “use alternate voice” and uncheck
it, then click “ok”.

The app uses the different sounding voice to convey its information so as to
help you not confuse it with actual text contained in the document. If you
don’t like the way the alternate voice sounds you do have some control over
it in the preferences dialog, or you can just uncheck it and the app will
use the normal voice.

Hth,

Chip

Subject: WE gives to much info in Word 2010

Hello lists,

I’m using newest version of WE and Office 2010. Sometimes, when I open a
document in Word, WE says “black on white”. Sometimes the eloquence voice in
Word changes for a while and then goes back to my selected voice.

First: How do I prevent WE from saying stuff like “black on white”?

Seccondly: How do I prevent WE from chaning the voice briefly?

Regards

Morne
