This problem started with me a year ago. Had a tech in uninstalled office 2003 several times and reinstalling to no avail. In my case the mail just hung in the outbox no matter what would have to go in the outbox and delete the message to free things up. Finally switched to Thunderbird. A couple days ago I went back into Outlook to view some old mail and by chance sent a sample note. Believe it or not the mail was sent. Good luck and hope you find a cure. Jim

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can help me, cause there is no explaination for this and it's really annoying. It's happening a lot lately. My outlook 2003 gets stuck when sending email. It'll just sit there and when I check the status it'll say sending message 1 of 1. It'll sit there for hours. I'll then kill the process. And then re-start outlook. Then it by some miracle sends the message. It's almost like it needs a jump start to send mail. It happens randomly. Does anyone else have thisproblem?
