Yes, I, too, have this problem, and it has persisted over many upgrades. I used
to use the standard factory-set keystroke combo to execute the Read-to-end, and
noticed the same behavior there, too. I changed it to ctrl-pause to avoid the
necessity of executing the bypass key combo to access the Reply function in
Outlook. As I said this was many upgrades ago. Anyway, the problem persists
even into Win-Eyes 7.5.4.1. It really isn't anything serious, so I've kept my
mouth shut about it, but I find the annoyance level is quite dependent upon my
mood at the time it fails--wonder why? I've never been able to reproduce the
effect every time at will, yet it happens so frequently as to require being ever
mindful that it might, and so necessary to keep my fingers on the key combo
for read-to-end until the darned thing starts reading! Again, it shouldn't turn
your hair white, just strictly an annoyance. For the Record, I'm running Windows
XP SP3, and I think it's Office 2007, and have never refused Windows updates.

Subject: strange behaviour with the read to end command

Hello list,

I’m running the latest version of WE on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. Sometimes,
when I want to read an entire document, including emails, I have to press the
Read to end command twice before WE starts reading. Does anyone also experience
this? Any advice would be apreciating.

Regards

Morné
