Hi, Chris.
Gesture support is definitely on our list.

Hi Aaron <mailto:[email protected]>,
So, WE 8 will install on the MS Surface tablets, but I seem to recall
some statements that support for touch gestures will not be out of the
box in WE 8, but rather will be added later. Am I correct in my
recollection? This would mean that full access to the Surface
functionality will take a bit of time. Still, I think it is great that
there will be any accessibility on these tablets from the release of
WE 8. I was watching for the new, smaller iPad model, but given what
has been revealed about the Surface so far, I am leaning more and more
in that direction, assuming that the models of the Surface turn out to
be as advertised.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi, Vic.
It's certainly something we're interested in, and we do recognize the
importance of the growing mobile market. But I don't know of any
specific plans at the moment. Window-Eyes will install on any Windows
8 running on an Intel platform, so it will work the new Intel tablets.
ARM processor support, however, isn't available. But, we always like
to keep our options open, so who knows what will happen in the future.

Hi Aaron
Without giving away the family jewels, can you let us know if there
is anything happening with WE, Windows 8, and the mobile platform?
Nokia just announced their next phone that will be running Windows 8
for mobile devices.
