So which version should we have?
I don't currently have it on my computer, but I do have an Ipod Touch that I
probably should get up to speed on.

Sounds familiar. I may like their products, but they're like a lot of other
companies: concerned, but afraid to give the game away too soon.
Unfortunately, doing that has unintended consequences with respect to
adaptive/assistive technology. Just like the old days - something would
change, and we'd be stuck.

That said, hope you have enough time to fix any problems that the new itunes
may cause.--Matthew Chao

We are working with Apple, but Apple has the nasty habit of not letting
anyone have access to their beta software until they're ready to release
it. Only then do they let us see it, and then they end up spending the
rest of the development cycle fixing the bugs. So we are in
communication with our Apple contacts, and they've assured us that
they'll let us have access to the new version when they're good and
ready, and not a moment sooner.
