I thought I saw sometime back on this list a mention of a tutorial for
Windows 7. If so, could someone please give me a link to download it or
let me know where it is. My last CD for WindowEyes is 7.5 but I have
upgraded to 7.5.4.1 on this old XP laptop. I am trying to learn how to use
Windows 7 on a new laptop and am very lost. I have a feeling that some of
my troubles are due to not having the WE settings where they should be.
For instance, the dialogue for copying a file gives me time remaining in
the title bar and that's it. When I do control-shift-w to read the window,
I get silence. When I use the numpad to review the window, it dings at me
for top and bottom with nothing in the window whatsoever. Since the time
changes and the file ultimately is copied fine, I know there's got to be
more information available during the copy process. I don't know if WE
needs to be set somehow that will let me read something I'm not finding now
or what.
Thanks for any help!
Marilyn
