Andre, Go to properties of the shortcut you use for Lotus notes. If it will start notes.exe, it is the java based client. If it starts nlnotes.exe, you will have the more accessible client. I thought, that in the java based client, you will find a Sametime item in the file menu. In the non-java version, there is no sametime option there.
Sametime is a sort of msn but for Lotus notes, so you can textchat with other notes users.
