Hi Everyone,
While we're on the discussion of Itune's accessibility, I too have
Itunes on my computer. I haven't had a chance to play around with it
yet, but I was wundering, when we buy music from the Itunes store, does
the software give us the option of buying the entire album or just
individual tracks? and what format are the files in? It was nice of the
people at Apple to think of us blind computer users, when they designed
this program. Thanks to GW Micro as well, for taking the time to work
with them to ensure accessibility.

It's very easy.  GWMicro has worked very closely with Apple to make
iTunes fully accessible.

The problem comes in when blind users haven't got a clue as to how
to use iTunes and assume it's the screen reader.

You have to use the line reading commands on the num-pad to find
your device and click on that.

This brings up a bunch of radio buttons for apps, music etc.  Of
course if you just want to sync your iPhone and all it's data, when
you connect the phone to the computer via the charge/sync cable you
need to do nothing else.  The hole ball of wax is synced.  Peace of
cake.

On the other hand, if you've installed the latest version of an app
and it's no longer accessible and you want to restore the previous
version you had before, just click the radio button for apps.  I
delete the app I want to get rid of first so it's not on my phone any
longer.  Now when I sync my phone and my computer, the previous version
that has already been backed up to my computer is then restored back
to my phone.  Then every time the app store says there's an update for
that app, just ignore it.  I don't know of any to tell the apps store
to stop showing me that update.

Hope this helps but GWMicro has done a great job with making iTunes
accessible.

Subject: Using ITunes with Window eyes

   Hi all!

Would like to know how easy it is to use the ITunes app with
Window eyes. I have version 10.7 of ITunes and have Window eyes
7.5.41. How easy is it to use the ITunes store or get started with it?
 Thanks for any and allhelp.
