That's how it's supposed to be.  You interact with it by using it's
keyboard commands.  You can hit CONTROL-WINDOWS-K to get a list of the
commands. You can either highlight a command and tab over to the
"execute" button and press the spacebar to carry out that command, or
you can simply use keystrokes to enter a command from any window.  It
does take a bit of getting used to.
