maybe an i phone is a solution for some blind people, but not for people like me. I need a scanner based reading solution, simply because i cannot operate an i phone, because it has a touch screen, and no buttons. And, no, voice under is no help. I have neuropathy in my hands, and moreover, after trying one of these horrible devices, i found that simply trying to operate an i phone is beyond my comprehension. This is why i'm glad that even though these stand alone devices cost more, they are much simpler, and easier for multipley challenged people such as myself. Thanks.
