Bob. Open the WE control panel, control backslash, then press Alt-H for help, V for show advanced settings. This makes no difference to mouse pointer speech, but if you reinstalled WE, you'll be scratching your head wondering where certain other things went when you go looking for them. Now, press Alt-e to make sure you are in the settings tree. Press the letter M to land on mouse, then right arrow and down arrow to voice. The control you want is the voice combo box, which is two tabs in. Choose either of the first two settings; Off, or On with Pointer Identification Off. Press Control-S to save your settings and close the WE control panel.
