You are doubtless able to ask questions. Don't be surprised however if you receive no answer. It was clearly written in at least one email that gW will not be answering questions about the functionality of the beta, and presumably the final release, until after the beta is released.

Thanks for all the hard work on the new WE8 release! I do believe that the "guess what" posts have more than a few of us eagerly awaiting the public beta like kids on Christmas morning.. It does sound like there has been a lot of thought and effort put in to this release and the features as demonstrated thus far seem like definite wants and needs rather than useless glittery fluff. The work you guys put in to these releases is very commendable. I had a couple questions about browse mode that weren't covered in the press release and wasn't sure if it were appropriate to ask or if you could comment on them. Firstly along with ARIA support can we also assume that WE will now better work with and identify HTML 5 elements? Is it also possible that WE will more correctly be able to guess font and colour of text on web pages? Secondly if it is now possible to move the mouse pointer to the focused item in browse mode is it then possible that the mouse pointer will work inside IE9 windows? Along with this, I'm assuming if one routes the mouse pointer to a focused item on a web site and either physically clicks or uses the emulated mouse click functions that WE will actually perform a click on that item? Thirdly I know I have reported some latency issues that happen with WE when other programs hang and I need to fall back to NVDA. I realize that hanging programs can drag software like WE down with them but is there anything known on whether perhaps WE8 handles this any better than 7.5.4.1? Along with this, will the new browse mode perhaps eliminate some of the instability experienced with IE and sudddenly getting the sound of doom from WE crashing? I know I've submitted a few crash reports on this, though whether this is an issue with this single system or a global issue with others I cannot be sure. Lastly, I also know you guys have worked hard on Thunderbird issues and was wondering if you've been able to make any progress in solving these problems many of us have reported with browse mode randomly turning on while one is typing a message? I know I would like to retire Notepad from the copy/paste pad it has served as for writing E-mails, as I am doing now. Thanks for any information. Overall with the pieces of information release thus far on WE8 it sounds very exciting and offers a lot of promising features and improvements, even if some of the suggested issues I've noted here haven't been addressed which I'm sure that it is likely some of them have.
